According to the Egyptian newspaper “The Seventh Day”, Abdo was kidnapped at the age of 3, and the family continued to search for him over the past years, but they were not successful in finding him until he returned to the village on Friday 12 February, indicating that a citizen of Beni Suef governorate, a teacher named Hassan, He found the child and gave him the name “Ayman”.
Regarding the details of his kidnapping 21 years ago, Father Jumah Abdo Marei says: “My son Abdo went out with his mother to the market one morning in the year 2000, and the mother lost him in the market and was searched for him everywhere to no avail, and I kept looking for him for 15 years, until Tired but not despair. “
Regarding the details of his finding, the father said: “A woman from our village in Giza was traveling to the governorate of Beni Suef to sell birds, and there I heard the story of the child who was found at the age of 3 years, where a citizen found him and raised him in the village of Al-Maymouna until he reached the age of 24 years. Then the bird saleswoman passed on the story to the young man’s family in Giza, who rushed to Beni Suef and met the young man at Hassan’s house and felt comfortable meeting him.
According to the newspaper, the young man’s family carried out a DNA analysis, which proved that the DNA matched the fingerprint.
