Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, affirmed that the Arab Parliament fully supports the efforts undertaken by the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Sudan to preserve their inalienable water and legal rights, which are affirmed by all relevant international laws and relevant bilateral agreements, stressing that the water security of both countries is an integral part of national security. The President of the Arab Parliament reaffirmed the firm position of the Arab Parliament regarding its solidarity and complete stand with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Sudan and their support in their moves and actions aimed at protecting their water security, and rejecting the prejudice to their legal and historical rights and their fixed share in the waters of the Nile River, which represents the lifeblood of the Egyptian and Sudanese peoples.
