The Egyptian MP, Mustafa Bakri, revealed the details of his meeting with the former Egyptian Parliament Speaker, Ali Abdel-Al, and the reason for his refusal to attend Parliament sessions as a deputy.
Commenting on the objection of some MPs during the plenary session of Parliament, Bakri said in his speech regarding the statements he made regarding the Future of the Nation Party and its relationship with Dr. Ali Abdel-Al: “When I met him, he told me that he is considering sending an answer to waive the reward.”
The deputy pointed out that Ali Abdel-Al told him: “You are satisfied, Mr. Mustafa, I will be a speaker, and after that I will remain a member, pointing out that Abdel-Al asked him about what happened with him. To play this role is natural. “
A member of Parliament asserted that the “Nation’s Future” party was not hostile with Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, as for disagreement, it is a natural matter.
The deputy continued: “When I give an opinion, I do not harm any colleague, nor do I harm the reputation of the Council, and I have not offended any colleague, nor do I present myself as a hero.”
For his part, Ashraf Rashad, head of the parliamentary body of the Watan Future Party, responded, saying: “What happened between the party and Dr. Ali Abdel-Al was because of the objection to his violation of the list in his opinion on the stage, which is unacceptable. El Al constitutional for himself, although he is a constitutional man.
