Microsoft is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the Xbox brand with a range of new products, and the original gaming platform was launched on November 15, 2001, and paved the way for the company to become one of the biggest names in the gaming field.
Topping the announcements is the new Special Edition Wireless Controller to celebrate the 20th Anniversary, this is a customized version of the modern Xbox wireless controller launched with Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. But with design elements that celebrate the occasion.
The arm comes with a transparent front panel, there is a small 20th anniversary logo below the face buttons and all buttons have gray stickers, except that the Xbox button is now green, and the rubber knobs on the back of the console are green as well.
According to the Arab portal for technical news, the modern Xbox wireless controller is still at its core, so it works with the current generation of Xbox and Xbox One platforms and devices that support Bluetooth technology including computers running Windows, Android and iOS.
And if you connect this controller to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, you also get an exclusive dynamic wallpaper for the console dashboard.
The special edition transparent wireless joystick costs $69.99 and will be available on November 15.
There is also a special edition Xbox Stereo Headset, a wired headset that Microsoft recently released for Xbox users. Similar to the Xbox Wireless Controller, this special edition headset features clear ear cups and bright green hues through the microphone and elsewhere.
Other than that, it’s the same as the original headset, with easy-to-use volume controls and support for spatial audio technologies like Dolby Atmos.
The Xbox Stereo Headset will be available to celebrate the Xbox Anniversary on November 15. But you can pre-order it now for $69.99.
Razer joins the celebration with its limited edition 20th Anniversary Universal Quick Charge Stand for Xbox. which was originally launched last month.
In addition, this charging stand allows you to view the joystick while it is fully charged in less than 3 hours, and is designed with overcharging protection to prevent overheating.
Like the special edition joystick, the stand features a transparent front panel and a green logo to celebrate the Xbox’s 20th anniversary.
Microsoft also announced some Xbox gear for the 20th anniversary, including T-shirts and hats.
