The Egyptian plastic artist, Gala Abdel Fattah, exhibited her most prominent paintings in the library of the Voloshin Cultural Center in Moscow.

The ceremony was attended by the Egyptian ambassador in Moscow, Ihab Talaat Nasr, who confirmed in a speech that the Egyptian artist Gala Abdel Fattah was a great example of the relationship that existed between Egypt and Russia for hundreds of years.

For his part, the Russian expert in Egyptology, Victor Solkin, the curator of the exhibition, confirmed that Gala’s talent in Russia enjoys many admirers, as its exhibitions are regularly opened in the most prestigious halls of the capital, Moscow.

He noted that the Voloshin Library and Center was chosen to hold the exhibition, due to the interest of the Egyptian civilization, explaining that the art of Gala Abdel Fattah represents an amazing cultural bridge between Egypt and Russia.

According to the Russian expert, the famous Russian writer, Sergey Kupriyanov, published a book in Russian and English, devoted to Gala’s creative career, as he also published for the first time unique documents and photos from the archives of the artist’s family.

The ceremony was attended by the cultural advisor of the Egyptian embassy, ​​Muhammad Nasr al-Jabali, the Russian artist, Alexander Biglov, members of the Russian Art Academy, Piotr Stronsky, and Konstantin Petrov, other representatives of art in Russia.

Gala Abdel Fattah Gamal’s paintings highlight ancient Egyptian queens and contemporary women, the great traces of Egyptian art, the timeless themes of femininity, and the abundance of nature on the banks of the Nile, where many of Gala’s works are preserved in 14 European countries and in the largest Arab countries.
