The Arab Rugby Federation praised Egypt’s organization of the sixth Arab men’s and first women’s championship in Alexandria.
The stadiums of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria hosted the sixth Arab Men’s Championship, which was crowned by the Egyptian national team for the second time and the first women’s tournament, which Egypt also won.
The Arab Federation sent a letter of thanks to the Egyptian Federation, praising the organization of the Arab Championship in a professional manner in light of the current Corona pandemic.
The Arab Federation congratulated its Egyptian counterpart on the men’s and women’s team winning the title, in a great achievement.
The championship won a great praise from all the delegations of the participating teams for the level of competition, organization, accommodation and subsistence at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the effort made by the Academy headed by Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar.
The tournament came out peacefully without any infections with the Coronavirus and the safety of all participants under the medical bubble system applied to the players and the conduct of medical swabs and precautionary measures applied from the beginning until the end of the competitions.
