The National Post Authority and Misr Life Insurance Company signed a cooperation protocol aimed at providing a package of insurance services through the post offices spread throughout the republic.

The protocol was signed by Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, and Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Executive Managing Director of Misr Life Insurance Company, according to a statement from the Postal Authority today, Thursday.

The head of the postal authority said that this agreement is of special importance in that it contributes to accessing insurance products to a wide range of customers, and aims to provide a special insurance product for small, medium and micro enterprises in various regions, villages and hamlets in all governorates.

He added that this will be done by taking advantage of the wide spread of Egyptian post offices, which number more than 4 thousand post offices spread throughout the republic, in order to ensure that these services reach all citizens with ease.

Farouk pointed out that this agreement also aims to increase and spread insurance awareness among all segments of society, and to provide insurance and financing products for young people of both genders to motivate them to adopt self-employment, in addition to integrating them into financial services to ensure the implementation of the state’s goals in achieving financial inclusion.

He explained that, in order to implement that, reliance will be placed on the great capabilities that Egyptian Post possesses, represented in the infrastructure and the wide geographical spread of post offices.

For his part, Ahmed Abdel Aziz explained that the goal of financial inclusion is to easily and easily access financial services and insurance solutions for any citizen, which is what Misr Life Insurance is working to achieve within the vision and strategic plan for financial inclusion developed by Misr Insurance Holding Company, the largest non-bank financial entity in Egypt.

He pointed out that Misr Holding Company plays a big role in taming the risks facing people and stone, and is considered a strategic backbone of the national economy and supportive of all Egyptian society groups.

Abdul Aziz said: “We are happy to renew the partnership with the National Post Authority, as it is a true success partner, because of its capabilities and wide spread of its branches throughout the Republic, which play an influential and effective role in activating the electronic payment mechanism, which allows us to provide our insurance services in a wider and comprehensive manner.” “.

He added that this comes “within the framework of the company’s development and development plan to provide suitable insurance coverage for all groups in the form of insurance packages and programs for investment, marriage and retirement programs that provide many benefits to customers.”
