The Tunisian president visits Egypt on Friday


The statement mentioned that Qais Said is paying an “official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt from 9 to 11 April 2021, at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.”

According to the source, the Tunisian president’s visit falls within the framework of linking bridges of communication and consolidating the year of consultation and coordination between the leaderships of the two countries, as well as establishing new visions and perceptions that enhance the distinguished path of cooperation existing between Tunisia and Egypt in a way that meets the legitimate aspirations of the two brotherly peoples for stability and development.

It is noteworthy that the Tunisian president visited Libya in mid-March, after the new government took power.

The Tunisian president is the first head of state to visit Libya, after the formation of the new government, and his visit is the first for a Tunisian president to Libya since 2012.
